Were any of you also really moved by the news today? Or was it just me?
Priyanka Gandhi’s search for closure… A daughter’s desperate need to come to terms with her father’s horrendous murder.

I think I had always known, impassively though, that Rajiv Gandhi was killed largely to garner world’s attention to the cause of LTTE, arguably of course, and for no major fault of his own. How difficult then, must it have been for a 19 year old girl, to comprehend why this terrible loss was forced upon her?

Quoting the BBC article:
The newspaper quoted Ms Gandhi telling Sriharan, “My father was a good person… Had you known about my father’s good nature, you would not have done this.”

Clearly, if even after 27 years, she is still looking for answers, perhaps she always will.
